Went to the African American Museum today
With my family
Down my family tree
To the Museums bottom floor called C
And See we did
And saw
And Felt
From the bottom to the top
In and of America
Born from the top
Captured to the below
Our African bloodline
Continue to grow
From the depths of Africa
Cross the deep blue seas
We're captured souls
Within millions of bodies
From east coast to West
Black to white
Black to plight
To Blacks must fight
But even in the depths of hell
One could hear our voices yell
GOD is Our Father
Our Father
Who art Thou in heaven
Hallowed be thy Name
Thy Kingdom Come
Thy Will be Done
On earth
As it is in the universe
Give us this day
Our daily bread
And give us serenity
As we give serenity to others
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For thine is the Kingdom
The Glory
And the Power
Forever and Ever
Amen
& Ameen
